Exploring Climate Change and Eco-Justice Through Environmental Inquiry
Description
- As we address the issues surrounding climate change as a society, a greater variety of voices are needed around the decision-making table. That begins with you and your students. Their voices matter and need to be amplified. This workshop will take you through how to launch an environmental inquiry with your students within the Culturally Responsive and Relevant Pedagogy framework. You will explore, through a social justice lens, local issues such as clean water and protecting green spaces and will leave the session with ready-to-go ideas that can lead to authentic, meaningful, youth-led eco-action.
