Your Guide to Pregnancy and Parental Leave
Description
- This workshop will identify rights and entitlements under the Employment Standards Act (leaves) and the Employment Insurance Act (benefits) as well as local-specific items in your collective agreement and miscellaneous items specific to your role in the classroom.
Target Audience
This workshop has been designed for members planning a pregnancy or parental leave in the near future, but all KPR ETFO members are welcome to attend.
Presented by
Shane Gibson served as KPR ETFO’s Member Support officer from 2015 to 2024 and was well versed in helping teachers navigate leaves. While now retired, Shane still presents for OTIP and KPR ETFO when properly flattered and cajoled.
