Who we are

The Kawartha Pine Ridge Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario (KPR ETFO) is the professional and protective organization representing the 1400 teachers and 700 occasional teachers employed by Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. We are a local of the Provincial ETFO organization. We have members working at 73 schools across an area stretching from Clarington in the west to Trenton in the east to Apsley in the north.

Presidents' Message

Welcome to the KPRETFO website.

The Kawartha Pine Ridge Elementary Teachers’ and Occasional Teachers’ Federation Locals proudly represent about 2100 members. We are excited to create a space that allows our members to find information about the Local and about their working conditions. This is the space where members can find information about their collective agreement, committee opportunities, participation in training and workshops as well as information about various community events that we support.

Please take some time to explore your website and if you have any comments, please connect with us under the “Contact Us” section.

Yours in Solidarity,

David Berger
President, KPR ETFO

Jen Deck
Occasional Teachers President, KPR ETFO

Our Executives

The local union executive (President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary and Secretary-Treasurer) is responsible for the leadership and administration of the local. The “job” of all local union leaders is to advance the interests of the local union members. The best run locals are those that successfully advance the interests of their membership within a culture of problem solving
